Candy Bar Fractions Lessons

Looking for a fun and different way to introduce and explore fraction concepts with your students? This set of lessons using Hershey chocolate bars is perfect!

These candy bars are divided into 12 equal parts, making the perfect visual for modeling fractions, equivalent fractions and adding and subtracting fractions.

There are 7 different activities included, allowing you to build on what students learn to see and explore more complex fraction topics, or to use at different times throughout the year when you cover a particular fraction topic.

There are also printable candy bars included, if you don't have actual chocolate bars, or if you are not allowed to bring food/candy into your classroom.
